Welcome to my blog! This is where I will be sharing all of the ins and outs of this little journey I’ve headed into. I’m so happy to have you here, and I hope you will enjoy the little details of the logo, brand name, and adventures behind Crimson Steele Photography!
Why Crimson Steele?
I wanted a name that portrayed the goals and beauty that I have in my personal life and my business. I want anyone who visits here to be able to find something they can relate to and find the beauty and purpose in their life and all of its “crazy”.
Steel, when it is heated to about 900 degrees turns red or crimson if you will. But when it cools, it has been refined to a stronger, more durable element. We all go through times in our lives where we feel like we’re going through more than we can handle. You almost get to that melting point, but when you pull through, you are stronger and more confident than ever. You go through hell and back, have to work the hardest you’ve ever had to in order to be strong and hold on to yourself, but it gets you to where you are now. My goal as your photographer is to capture the real and perfect you, the strength and the finesse in your story. So whether you are a couple just starting your adventures together, an exciting little family living life to the fullest in every aspect, or just YOU in all of your chaotic loveliness. . . I can not wait to work with you! Let me capture timeless moments for you to look back on and remember in the happiest or what may seem to be the hardest moments of your life.
The Logo
Here’s my favorite part! Above you will see my logo. I have the wheat and flowers in a triangle. The wheat is a personal symbol to me of strength and hard work. The flower is a sign of staying sweet in all of the strengthening chaos, and the triangle means to always look up. There’s always a reason to look up and see the good in what seems ugly.
I was blessed with a family that believes in hard word and personal independence. My grandfathers on either side of my family are very outstanding, amazing men. Both of them are a huge reason why I am where I am today. They are both a huge example of hard work and strength, teaching their children to have a good work ethic. If you wanted something, you worked hard for it. My Grandpa Tom spent his life working in the fields and teaching his sons along side him. I don’t think he had a lazy day in his life, he worked hard and was setting the best of examples until his last moments. At his funeral there was a bouquet of wheat, representing his life of hard work and perseverance. Wheat has always stood out to me as a symbol of working hard and sturdy independence because of that. To keep on pursuing and reaching for the moon. You are the master of where you end up, and the end results are always worth it. They both taught their children to rise above and beyond. There’s no goal that isn’t reachable.
You’ll notice the flowers in the wheat. Where the wheat is a sign of hard work and independence, the flowers are a symbol of staying sweet and true to yourself. I tend to be a person who closes off and gets so wound up in putting on the face of independence, that I forget to be true to myself. Being open and kind is so important to your happiness. I hope that I can an example of that to those I meet through this website and outside of it.
Last, but most definitely not least, is the triangle. As I mentioned before, its a reminder to always look up. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ. A triangle that points up is a reminder to me to remember that all things are possible through him.
Always reach for your goals, always stay true to yourself, and last but not least. . .ALWAYS LOOK UP! I hope that by working with me, you can look at these images and remember your worth and just how far you have come and will still go. Thank YOU for being here!
